Although this list is not exhaustive (and does not appear in any specific order!), it covers some of the resources available to teaching assistants and students at UBC, and is mentioned here in the hope that it will be a little easier to get help or clarification on UBC guidelines if necessary. We strive to keep the list up to date, but please inform [email protected] if you find inaccurate or outdated information, or if you have information about resources that may be useful for TAs on UBC. Consider programming this number in your phone so you have it in case of an emergency. Note: In 2015, at a meeting of the university`s Health and Safety Committee, it was reported that the First Aid campus response time was significantly faster than the 911 election and the wait for an ambulance to arrive.
